Stepping into the Future: Land for Training and Economic Growth in Sierra Leone

Over the past year, Daniel and I have been dreaming, praying, and planning toward a vision that’s close to our hearts: purchasing land in the Makeni area of Sierra Leone to establish a training center and economic incubation hub. This center will serve as both a spiritual resource and a practical launching pad for empowerment—designed to help individuals and communities grow, thrive, and become self-sustaining.

A Vision Taking Root

In February, Lori and I traveled to Sierra Leone, where we had the opportunity to walk the land Daniel had identified. Set near a major river and just 15 minutes from the city of Makeni, this location is ideal for agricultural training, crop development, and community-based learning initiatives.

We believe deeply in the power of the gospel to transform lives—not just spiritually, but economically and socially. Our hope is to equip individuals with both the faith and the tools to rise out of poverty and lead lives of dignity and purpose.

A Journey of Collaboration

After our visit, Daniel engaged in multiple meetings with the local chief and landowning families. Through these conversations, a fair price was agreed upon, laying a strong foundation of trust and cooperation.

The next step was to survey the land—an effort that required patience and the right local expertise. That process is now complete, and we are officially looking at 14 acres of fertile, well-positioned land ready for development.

What’s Next

We’re now taking the final legal step before making the purchase: registering our organization in Sierra Leone. This is a crucial part of the process that will allow us to move forward with legitimacy and clarity, opening doors for future growth and deeper engagement.

Join Us on This Journey

We are filled with hope for what’s ahead. This isn’t just about land—it’s about launching a movement of transformation, training, and opportunity in Sierra Leone.

If this vision inspires you, we would love to talk with you about ways to partner, invest, or pray with us as we take these next steps.

Let’s build something that lasts—together.
